This is an unframed original oil painting, entitled "Beach Buds." It is signed by me "Judith Rhue" and dated "2013" in the lower right corner. It is also painted on the sides, so it will look great whether it is framed or unframed.
A dog and his companion walking along the beach inspired this piece. I used a tonalist painting technique. Keeping the colors neutral gives the painting a peaceful aura.
Quality, professional grade oil paints and refined linseed oil were used on a stretched, gallery wrap, 100% cotton duck canvas.
