This is an unframed original oil painting, entitled "Homeless Vietnam Vet." It is signed by me "Judith Rhue" and dated "2011" in the lower right corner. It is also painted on the sides.
My husband (a disabled Vietnam veteran) posed for me for this painting. There are too many homeless. If you enjoy your freedom, thank a veteran.
"The great art of life is sensation, to feel that we exist, even in pain." - George Gordon Byron. I chose to post this painting at the start of the Memorial Day weekend, because of the many sacrifices our veterans make for their country.
Quality, professional grade oil paints and refined linseed oil were used on a stretched, gallery wrap, 100% cotton duck canvas.
